High School Senior Was Victim Of Fatal Single-Car Crash On Holyoke-Southampton Line A high school student who died in a car crash in late-February is being remembered by the community as a passionate student with a strong work ethic and a great friend. Markiyan “Mark” Yuzych, 18, of West Springfield, died on Feb. 28 when, around 10:30 p.m., the vehicle he was driving crashed into a utility pole on County Road near the Holyoke-Southampton border.
