Warriors, Rams Top Girls Hockey Conference Honors

The New Canaan High School girls hockey team ran away with the FCIAC and state championships behind a record-setting trio. But it was equaled by a vastly improved program in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference first team honors. Announced Monday, three players from the Wilton Warriors were named to the All-FCIAC girls hockey first team along with three members of the championship Rams squad. In just the third year for the program, Wilton finished with its best-ever record of 14-6 and played in the FCIAC and state playoffs for the first time.
