The Connecticut Tides Baseball Club has set its schedule for tryouts for the upcoming 2011 season. Tryouts will be held at the Batter's Box in Norwalk.
Tryout dates are: Team 18u College Development and Team 17u College Showcase, on Saturdays, Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Teams 14u16u, on Fridays, Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25, from 7 to 8:30 pm.
The Tides are one of the most competitive teams in the area and are coached by top professionals. The program also provides exposure to college coaches and programs as well as a chance to continue to develop proper fundamentals, work ethic, team play and knowledge of the game. The Tides compete in league play as well as nationally sanctioned tournaments.
