Registration is open for the Minute Man 5K, 10K and children's races set for May 1 at Compo Beach in Westport.
The races begin at 7:45 a.m. They are sponsored by the Westport Young Woman's League. Runners can also register to race for several local charities. Complete information and online registration details are available on the race website. Last year, more than 500 runners finished the 5K, and more than 400 completed the 10K.
