NORWALK, Conn. – Connecticut Boat Club won gold at the San Diego Fall Classic Regatta, which was held on Mission Bay in San Diego and hosted by the historic San Diego Rowing Club.
Connecticut Boat Club was the only East Coast team racing at the event.
“This was a great opportunity to race teams from California, Washington, Oregon and Arizona, who we don’t typically see until Nationals in June," said Coach Liz Trond. "Winning the coxed 4 race, competing against a very fast boat from San Diego (second at Head of the Charles), was the perfect way to cap off our fall racing season and transition into our indoor season.”
