HGTV’s House Hunters follows individuals, couples and families who are searching for a new home with the guidance of a knowledgeable real estate agent. Centering on the emotional experience of finding and purchasing a new home, buyers learn what they are and are not looking for in a home. Ultimately, they choose one out of three properties they had viewed before the end of the show. The show concludes by following up with the buyers a few months later where they describe the changes they made to the home and how their current living situation has affected their lives.
