Fight Between Lillian August Workers Injures One In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – A fight between two Lillian August employees at the premium furniture store’s Knight Street location Saturday resulted in one suffering injuries and requiring treatment at Norwalk Hospital, police said.

The 19-year-old victim, a Shelton resident, suffered injuries to his face, neck, right arm and head in the 12:30 p.m. fight, police said. The two fought over an incident involving the girlfriend of one of the men, police said.

Jose Hernandez, 33, of Wheeler Avenue, Bridgeport, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of third-degree assault and third-degree strangulation. He was released after posting $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on April 11.
