Rounds of severe storms with drenching downpours have closed roads, flooded homes, and destroyed roads across Connecticut.

Fatal Crash: CT 43-Year-Old ID'd As Victim On I-84 Stretch
One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on a stretch of I-84 in Connecticut.
It happened at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 on the westbound side in West Hartford.
The victim, Joey Antoine Roldan, age 43, of East Hartford, was driving a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle east of Exit 40 when, for an unknown reason, he lost control, Connecticut State Police said.
During the collision sequence, the motorcycle fell to its side, and Roldan became detached from it. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 42-year-old Fairfield County alleged drug dealer was busted with a large stash of narcotics, including fentanyl after police received a tip.
Bridgeport resident Adrian Clack was taken into custody on Wednesday, Aug. 14, by Stamford Police after the department received "information."
According to Assitant Chief Rich Conklin of the Stamford Police, Clack was located by officers parked in the area of 28 Bell St. and detained without incident.

Man Found Asleep At Wheel Of Running Jeep In Darien Charged With DUI, Police Say
A Connecticut man was charged with alleged DUI after he was found asleep behind the wheel of a running Jeep at a car dealership, police said.
The incident occurred in Fairfield County at H&L Chevrolet at around 3:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, in Darien.
According to Sgt. Mauricio Vigil of the Darien Police, Justin Holliday, age 40, of New Haven County in Waterbury, was located by police asleep in a running 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
