NORWALK, Conn. – Katherine Ann Crugnola, 75, of Norwalk, died Wednesday, July 22 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.
She was born in Norwalk Feb. 13, 1940, the daughter of the late Mario and Louella Crugnola, and lived Bridgeport all her life. She attended local schools and was retired from the deli department at Stew Leonard’s. She loved playing bingo, cards, occasional visits to the casinos and watching movies with her friends at the Broad River Homes.
She is survived by her dear friends and caretakers Frances Zeranski and Geraldine Giannino, and their families.
She was predeceased by her longtime best friend, Mary Poniatowski.
Friends may pay their respects Sunday, July 26 from 3-6 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, July 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
