NORWALK, Conn. - Josephine Anna Lorenti of Norwalk died Sept. 2. She was 88.
Lorenti was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Norwalk, the daughter of Arthur and Amelia Anastasia DeMichelis. She was a member of St. Philip Parish since 1965. She also was a member of the Alhambra and a Columbiette.
Lorenti is survived by her sons, John R. Lorenti, of Tennessee, Arthur L. Lorenti, of Norwalk, and Joseph P. Lorenti Jr., of Norwalk; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Mazzella, Marie Corbo and her husband Bob, and Lucille Amente; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Patrick Lorenti, Sr.; and a sister, Toni Guita.
Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Sept. 5 at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sept. 6 in St. Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk. Burial will follow in Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main St., Westport.
