NORWALK, Conn. – Diane Savatsky, 67, of Norwalk, died Wednesday, April 1, of cancer.
She was born in Stamford on Nov. 21, 1947 to Daniel Sabia and Helen Turzer Sabia.
A graduate of Mother of God Academy in Stamford, she worked as a purchasing supervisor at Cheesebrough-Ponds, retiring early to be a caregiver for many family members.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Savatsky; her siblings Donna (Sam) Barrow of Broomfield, Colo.; Cathy (Savatsky) McQuaid and John McQuaid of Trumbull, Conn.; James and Nelli Savatsky of Stamford.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 7, from 5-8 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave. Norwalk. A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 669 West Ave. Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery. All are invited to the Savatsky home immediately following.
