Update: Route 7 Reopens in Wilton

Update, 3:30 p.m.: Route 7 is open in both directions Monday afternoon after flooding had closed the road south of Georgetown earlier in the day. Only one lane is open, forcing cars to alternate, on a stretch near Honey Hill Road in North Wilton.

Original story: Flooding has closed stretches of Route 7 in North Wilton. The northbound lanes of the road are closed at Route 33. The southbound lanes are closed at Route 107 in Georgetown.

A flood warning remains in effect for Fairfield County until 1:45 p.m., Monday.
