NORWALK, Conn. A man was found floating in the water just off Connecticut Avenue at the Darien-Norwalk border early Saturday afternoon. Norwalk firefighters tried to resuscitate the man, who was found in River Park at about 12:45 p.m. He was taken away on a stretcher by Norwalk paramedics.
Both Norwalk and Darien police departments responded to the scene. Norwalk police assumed the lead in the investigation, taking photographs of a shopping cart that was found near the body.
