A 12-year-old boy was allegedly told to "run his pockets" by a man pointing a gun at him Tuesday evening on West Avenue,Norwalk police reported. Instead, the boy ran. His grandmother reported the incident to police Wednesday afternoon. She said her grandson did not tell her at first because he did not want to upset her.
The boy said he was walking on West Avenue, near the CVS at 696 West Ave., when three men approached him, two from behind, one in front. The man in front had his hand in the pocket of his black hoodie, and it appeared that he had a gun, the boy said.
The man pulled a black revolver from his pocket and pointed it at him according to the boy. He said one of the men had a scar near his nose and was wearing a white hoodie and black jeans. The other had a black hoodie, gray sweatpants and flip-flops. The gunman was wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants, work boots and a gray bandana across his face. The boy said they were black and in their 20s.

? Norwalk police assisted two New York Police Department detectives in apprehending a Bronx resident Wednesday evening at a Laura Street home. Pierre Robinson, 29, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was $250,000, according to Sgt. James Boff.
Robinson was wanted for a parole violation. He was originally charged with two counts of attempted murder. He was taken in without incident.
