Air Quality Alert Issued For Friday In Norwalk

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- An Air Quality Alert is in effect in Fairfield County from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced. 

An Air Quality Action Day means that ground level ozone in the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.

The forecast for Friday is for high temperatures of 90 degrees under sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.
