Display Of Patriotism Among Norwalk Knights Gains Civic Award Win

NORWALK, Conn. -- Veteran support and other patriotic activities have earned the Norwalk Knights of Columbus’ Bishop Fenwick Assembly #100 a civics award.

The Knights received the Supreme Civic Award last month for exemplifying patriotism and national pride. 

 “Our number one goal as an Assembly is to promote patriotism and support our veterans said Faithful Navigator George Ribellino, Jr. The Assembly has members from Norwalk, Westport, and Wilton.

The Knights raise money for veterans and Homes for the Brave and Fisher House CT, and participate in Columbus Day festivities.

Coming up on May 20 is Armed Forces Day to benefit the Homes for the Brave in Bridgeport.

This inaugural patriotic dinner will take place at Knights hall, St. Ann Club, 16 Hendricks Ave., Norwalk.
