Weston Restaurant Reopens, Blends Past and Present

WESTON, Conn. – Earlier this month, La Roue Elayne at Cobb’s Mill opened its doors for a soft opening, the first time the restaurant has served diners since 2010.

In its newest iteration, the La Roue Elayne at Cobb’s Mill is located at the crossroads of past and present. A plaque outside states that the building itself dates back to before the Revolutionary War. And the new owners, Elayne Cassara and Drew Friedman, have enlisted the talents of the restaurant’s former owner, Domenic Cocchia, who now serves as the general manager for the reincarnated restaurant.

An announcement came yesterday via the restaurant’s Facebook page, stating that the full menu will be rolled out soon. The menu, developed under the direction of Executive Chef Michael Achille, promises to be an eclectic mix of gastro-pub gourmet fare. And live, local music acts will keep things festive on the weekends.

For more details, including hours and musical schedule, visit La Roue Elayne at Cobb’s Mill Facebook page, or call (203) 227-7221. The restaurant is located at 12 Old Mill Rd. in Weston.
