New Canaan is nationally recognized among architecture cognoscenti for the large number of mid-century modern homes built in the town. Architects who designed the homes on the tour include John H. Howe, Eduardo Faxas, James Evans, Philip Johnson, Joeb Moore, David Ling, John Black Lee and Harrison DeSilva.
