The Westport Weston Health District will host mammography screenings 9 a.m. -- 3 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4, at its office, 180 Bayberry Lane, Westport. Women age 35 and over are eligible.
Screenings are done by Stamford Health System's Mobile Wellness Program van. Results go directly to the patient and her physician, and are strictly confidential. Most insurance plans are accepted, including Medicare. There is no charge to women without insurance thanks to a grant from the Breast Cancer Alliance of Greenwich and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
