Make a Case for the iPhone

Apple’s release of the newest version of the iPhone seems like the perfect time to take a look at some of the chicest, tech savviest iPhone cases out there. Whether you’re a fan of sleek, designer covers or trendier graphic cases, there are plenty of ways for you make your statement with a second skin for your most utilized accessory.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Kate Spade – The whimsical label brings its bright, graphic style to an iPhone near you. Prints include everything from a simulated classified newspaper page to animal prints. My personal favorite is the perfectly on-trend polka dot case in black and white.

Maison Takuya – iPhone’s don’t get sexier than when they're all dressed up in snakeskin by Maison Takuya. These covers ard enough to protect your tech investment, and luxe enough to make a statement.

Marc Jacobs – Leave it to Marc Jacobs to make a panther print—as in, graphic, block print images of the animal—look grown up enough to grace the back of your iPhone. One part Eric Carle illustration, two parts chic style, Marc Jacob’s cases will make your iPhone stand out in a crowd, or inside your cluttered handbag.

Otter Box – Otter Box is  the Darth Vader of iPhone covers: not necessarily chic, but definitely effective, and sometimes a little intimidating. While they may not be red carpet-worthy, Otter Box covers do come in cute colors and even a few patterns. This brand’s main attraction is that it will also make your iPhone kid proof, which is an important attribute to those of us who regularly wrangle small, sticky Angry Birds fans.

Etsy original– This old school British phone booth case for your iPhone, offered by a private seller on Etsy, is brilliantly kitchy. What it lacks in practicality, it more than makes up for in originality. If you want to take your iPhone one step further, this case has a nice back to the future feel, with added Euro caché.
