A Kebab Factory for Norwalk

Stamford's exceptionally talented chef Kausik Roy and his partner J..P Agarwal, owners of Tawa Indian bread bar and restaurant on Summer Street, have brought their unique style of cooking to Norwalk. The two have opened The Kebab Factory, a charming Indian Bistro on Connecticut Avenue. The new restaurant features over 20 varieties of healthy meat and seafood kebabs, all seasoned with fresh herbs and hand-ground spices. Unlike the American version of this grill staple, however, the kebabs here are roasted inside a classic Indian tandoor (clay) oven and the resulting flavorful chunks of lamb, chicken, shrimp, sea bass and more are served on a plate rather than on a stick.

For those looking for Indian standards like spicy lamb vindaloo or chicken tikka masala, The Kebab Factory also offers a complete menu of regional Indian dishes and breads that Roy has become known for.

As is common to the Indian restaurant theme, The Kebab Factory offers a bountiful lunch buffet for $11 - a great value. The 30-seat restaurant serves beer and wine. For more information, go to www.kebabfactoryonline.com or stop by for lunch or dinner at 280 Connecticut Avenue.
