"Toy Story 3" Says a Sentimental Goodbye

Woody, Buzz and the other beloved "Toy Story" characters reunite for a sentimental, final adventure in "Toy Story 3." The film, the last "Toy Story" installment, engages with its engrossing story and the lovingly-drawn characters we've come to know -- as well as some very funny new recruits: Barbie & Ken dolls and a hedgehog named Mr. Picklepants. "Toy Story 3" is their farewell, according to its creator Pixar/Disney Studio. It has won the hearts of audiences and critics with its clever adventure plot laced with  themes of loyalty, friendship and the passage of time. The Minneapolis Star Tribune critic Colin Covert wrote, “Once again, the wizards of Pixar have turned a gaggle of old playthings into some of the most captivating, fully realized and touching characters onscreen today.” The Martime Aquarium at Norwalk presents the 2D, IMAX version of "Toy Story 3" on its six story high screen, the largest in Connecticut.

This version of the final episode in the “Toy Story” saga plays at 4 & 6:30 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and at 4 p.m. Mondays -- Thursdays through Labor Day. “Toy Story 3” also will show at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 7-9 and at 3:30 & 5:30 p.m. Sept. 10-12.  Tickets are $9.50-$11.50.
