AT&T will also extend the late-payment window for wireless customers who are behind and waive late-payment fees.
Usage prior to Oct. 29 or after Nov. 30 will be billed normally, said a statement on the AT&T website.
“We expect recovery to affect many customers’ regular services for weeks and we want to make sure that we allow for them to make use of service while working to put their lives back in order,” said the statement.
The offer waives overage charges for voice and text only. No additional voice or text charges will appear on customers’ bills beyond their monthly plan charges.
Customer with specific storm-related situations causing data overages should call AT&T customer service.
