Bethel Man Charged With Sexual Assault For Performing Fake Medical Study, Police Say Connecticut State Police are working to identify potential victims of a business owner who allegedly solicited female victims for a weird fake medical study, in which he would use various instruments as well as his own hands and ears to manipulate and listen to their abdomens.  Fairfield County resident Brian Casella, age 35, of Bethel, was charged on Friday, Nov. 17 with sexual assault and released on a $10,000 bond.   State Police first became aware of Casella's "studies" when a victim came forward in August to say that she felt she had been sexually assaulted by her employ…

Todd Patrick Ford of Westport was last seen around 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14 leaving the complex at 5 Canal St., on foot. According to Westport Police Lt. Matthew Gouveia, Ford is in need of prescription medication and the department is "concerned for his welfare." Ford is 5-foot-9, 190 pounds with short dark hair.
