Bethel Man Charged With Sexual Assault For Performing Fake Medical Study, Police Say
Connecticut State Police are working to identify potential victims of a business owner who allegedly solicited female victims for a weird fake medical study, in which he would use various instruments as well as his own hands and ears to manipulate and listen to their abdomens. Fairfield County resident Brian Casella, age 35, of Bethel, was charged on Friday, Nov. 17 with sexual assault and released on a $10,000 bond. Have You Seen Him? Westport Man Missing For 3 Days, Police Concerned For His Welfare
A Silver Alert has been issued for a Fairfield County man who has not been seen in three days and is in need of his medication. Todd Patrick Ford of Westport was last seen around 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14 leaving the complex at 5 Canal St., on foot. According to Westport Police Lt. Matthew Gouveia, Ford is in need of prescription medication and the department is "concerned for his welfare." Ford is 5-foot-9, 190 pounds with short dark hair. Police in a Fairfield County town are warning residents of an uptick in the number of bobcat sightings at parks and in yards. New Canaan Police Lt. A contractor from Fairfield County faces prison time after admitting to providing fabricated invoices and letters to the Internal Revenue Service, federal officials announced. Wilton resident David Anspach, age 67, pleaded guilty to a tax offense in Hartford federal court on Wednesday, Nov. 15, the US Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut announced. Broadway Productions Of 'Lion King, Beetlejuice' Seeking Actors
The Actors' Equity Association is casting actors for two popular Broadway shows. Recent casting calls are seeking actors for "The Lion King" and "Beetlejuice." Both are paid gigs with actors earning approximately $1,165 a week for "Beetlejuice" and $2,439 for "The Lion King." "The Lion King" is being produced by Disney Theatrical Productions while "Beetlejuice" is produced by Beetlejuice First National Tour LLC. Greenwich Man, 20, Passed Out In Car Charged With DUI
A 20-year-old Fairfield County man was charged with DUI after he was allegedly found passed out behind the wheel of his car in a no-parking zone. Daniel Estrella-Ortiz, of Greenwich, was charged on Sunday, Nov. 11 after police found him passed out behind the wheel of his running car in a no-parking zone on Bruce Park Ave. According to Lt. Officials with a hospital conglomerate that was the victim of a weeks-long cyberattack, have informed the state's attorney general's office that 110,000 Connecticut residents had their personal data compromised during the episode. Police are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle that may have hit a woman found lying on the ground at an intersection in Fairfield County with serious injuries. Bridgeport Police received several calls around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14 regarding a woman lying at the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Bishop Avenue.
