Federal Judge Esther Salas has spoken out about last month's shooting that killed her son and injured her husband, in a tearful video released Monday morning, Aug. 3.
Salas and her son, Daniel, 20, were chatting and cleaning up after a weekend of birthday celebrations for him at their North Brunswick, New Jersey home on Sunday, July 19.
Daniel turned to his mom and said, "'Mom, let's keep talking 'I love talking to you, Mom,' " the judge recounted.

New Canaan PD: Teen Who Violated Protection Order Charged With Threatening, Disorderly Conduct
After violating an order of protection, a New Canaan man was arrested and faces multiple charges, according to police.
The protection order was placed on Wednesday, Nov. 21 around 7 p.m. after New Canaan Police responded to a complaint of a domestic altercation between two family members.
During the investigation, Arlind Bajraktari, 18, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and making threats. He was granted a conditional release.

A Stamford woman who screamed at a victim during a courtroom hearing was arrested over the weekend for sending harassing text messages to the man and his wife, according to Stamford Police.
