PARAMUS, N.J. -- Rosaria Moran, 97, of Paramus, died Thursday, Nov. 10. She was a member of the Paramus Seniors Club and a Parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation RC Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Moran.
She is survived by her child, Dennis Moran.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Maria Granata, of Fair Lawn, died Friday, Nov. 11. She was 76.
She was born in Sicily, and she came to the United States in 1960, settling in Paterson. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s R.C. Church in Paterson. An avid reader, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Antonio Granata; children, Joseph Granata, Rosanna Granata Palatucci and Mary Granata; grandchildren, Frank, Marina, Anthony, Victoria and Joseph; and siblings, sister of Angelina Princiotta and the late Pietro Caravella.

He was born Sept. 7, 1920.
He was a renowned musicia,n who had done movie and TV themes, such as "Bonanza," "Hawaii Five-O," "The Magnificent Seven" and many more. In addition, he created and was featured on more than 50 albums and CDs, as well as performed with great artists, such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan, Rosemary Clooney, Buddy Holly and Tony Bennett to name a few. GARFIELD, N.J. -- Nicholas J. Nicosia, of Garfield, died Nov. 10. He was 97.
Before retiring, he was a dock worker for Redstar Express in North Bergen, a member of the Teamsters Union Local 560 and past president of the Teamsters Retirement Club. He was a World War II Army veteran and former commander of the Lodi V.F.W. Post 5082.
