Vehicle Stolen and Returned To Easton Owner Before Owner Knew It Was Gone EASTON, Conn. -- An Easton resident's vehicle was stolen, involved in a brief pursuit with Bridgeport Police and returned — all before the owner knew the vehicle was gone, Easton Police said. The vehicle had been involved in the pursuit in the early-morning hours of Thursday and was returned to the owner with some minor damage, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

Darien Woman Nabbed On DUI Charge By Westport Police WESTPORT, Conn. — A speeding vehicle at 2 a.m. Wednesday attracted the attention of Westport Police officer, who stopped the car and discovered the driver had been drinking alcohol and arrested her, police said. Kathryn Velesbir, 25, of Darien was charged with operating under the influence. The officer noticed a vehicle traveling north on Riverside Avenue at a high rate of speed. After stopping the car, the officer detected what seemed to be an odor of alcohol and the driver's speech appeared to be slow and slurred, police said. Greenwich Financial Adviser Who Serves On RTM Faces Child Porn Charges GREENWICH, Conn. -- A financial adviser who sits on Greenwich's Representative Town Meeting is facing a charge of possession of child pornography as a result of an investigation that began with an undercover operation into images and videos of child pornography being traded "peer to peer," Police said. Stamford Man Wounded In July Gun Battle Arrested On Drug Charges STAMFORD, Conn. — A man who barely survived after he was shot multiple times in an ambush in Stamford's South End this summer has been arrested on drug charges, police said. Jason Raffaeli, 24, formerly of Pound Ridge, N.Y., and now listed as residing at 44 Cold Spring Road, Apt. Bridgeport Police Identify Murder Suspect, Seek Help In Finding Him BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Police Department's Detective Bureau is looking for a suspect in connection with the Dec. 15 shooting death of a city man. A murder arrest warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Richard Lopez. Darien Police Find Sex Assault Suspect In New Year's Eve Traffic Stop DARIEN, Conn. -- A New Year's Eve traffic stop turned up a man wanted on a sex assault charge, Darien Police said.
