Crumbl Cookies is launching its eighth Connecticut location this week. It will be in Stamford at 1131 High Ridge Road. A fireball that appeared in the skies off the coast of Long Island has been confirmed to have been a meteor that was seen in several states, including New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. The meteor was seen in several East Coast states on Thursday, Nov. 2 just after 7 p.m., according to an announcement by NASA. Police in Fairfield County have released the name of a woman who was found dead by a dumpster in an American Legion parking lot. Suspicious Death: Woman's Body Found Behind American Legion In Bridgeport Rickeyta Shantise Baker, age 37, of Bridgeport, was found in Bridgeport around 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, at 1028 Stratford Ave. According to Capt. A couple faces charges after a middle-aged Connecticut woman was assaulted on a Northern Westchester hiking trail following a dispute over an unleashed dog, police said. A much beloved Fairfield County fire marshall has died after a short battle with cancer. Norwalk Deputy Fire Marshal Luca Feola was 47. He died on Thursday, Nov. 2, said Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling. Feola served in the Norwalk Fire Department for nearly 20 years. He started as a firefighter in 2004 and was promoted to Deputy Fire Marshal in 2011. Feola grew up in Norwalk and was well-loved by the Norwalk Fire Department and the larger community, Rilling said. A local teenager was killed in a crash on a busy Connecticut roadway. The crash happened in New Haven County around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 in Meriden on I-691. A 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo was traveling eastbound on the Exit 1 ramp when it ran off the roadway and collided with a cable barrier in the right shoulder, according to Connecticut State Police.
