Despite a recall notice and multiple warnings from the Food and Drug Administration, Dollar Tree continued to sell applesauce pouches containing lead for weeks, federal officials say. Stop & Shop To Close Underperforming Stores In Northeast
The future is grim for Stop & Shop's underperforming stores in the Northeast. A retailer primarily located in malls is set to close all 543 of its stores following its third Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Closures for all rue21 locations are expected to be completed within the next two months with going-out-of-business sales coming soon. Family Dollar, Dollar Tree To Close 1,000 Stores
Discount chain Family Dollar and parent company Dollar Tree will close a combined 1,000 stores. Macy's plans to close about 30 percent of its remaining stores over the next three years. New Bed Bath & Beyond Store Closures Include Waterford Location
Struggling home goods retailer Bed Bath & Beyond has announced 56 new store closures that it says will be implemented by the end of the calendar year.
