Armed, Dangerous Man Wanted For Broad Daylight Shooting In CT Police in Bridgeport are asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with a violent assault.  Tomas Elias LaPorte, age 48, of Bridgeport is wanted for the Wednesday, March 8 broad daylight attack of a man at the intersection of State Street & Iranistan Avenue, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police. Police officers responded to the area and located a 52-year-old Bridgeport man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the leg, Gilleran said. Suspect Nabbed In Beating Of CT Man, Police Say A man who allegedly beat another person so badly he remains in the hospital on a ventilator with a brain bleed has been arrested by police. Ohireime Julian Osemobor, age 29, was arrested on Sunday, June 6, by Stamford Police for the violent assault of the 66-year-old man which took place around 10 p.m., on Saturday, May 29, said Stamford PD Captain Richard Conklin.
