911 Call Leads Troopers To I-95 Wrong-Way Driver A 911 call led Connecticut State Police to apprehend a wrong-way driver from New York in Fairfield County who was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The incident occurred in Greenwich around 1:40 a.m. on Friday, March 22 on I-95 near Exit 3. 35-Year-Old Found Dead In Driver's Seat Of Car On CT Roadway Police have launched a homicide investigation after it was determined a man found dead in the driver's seat of a car in Fairfield County did not die as a result of an accident. On Saturday, Feb. 4 at approximately 3:20 a.m., Connecticut State Police troopers assigned to Troop G in Bridgeport responded to a report of one-car crash on Route 7 northbound in the area of Exit 2 in Norwalk. CT State Police Investigate Shooting Death Of Man On Busy Roadway Connecticut State Police are investigating the shooting death of a man on Route 8 in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 3:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, when troopers assigned to Troop G-Bridgeport responded to the area of Route 8 northbound in the city of Bridgeport after receiving a 911 call regarding a shooting. Upon the arrival, a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital where he died. The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
