Tacombi, a taqueria known for its flavorful tacos and cocktails, is opening its first location in the state, located in Fairfield County at 1680 Post Road (Route 1) in Westport. Vigil In Solidarity With Ukraine Set For CT
A Fairfield County town will host a vigil for the community to show their solidarity with Ukraine. In Stratford, organizers will host a "Stratford Stands with Ukraine" vigil at 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 9 on the steps of Town Hall, located at 2725 Main Street, town officials said. Person Exhibiting 'Erratic Behavior' Draws Police To Two CT Schools
A police department in Fairfield County beefed up security at a pair of area elementary schools after a pedestrian made “idle threats” and was "exhibiting erratic behavior," officials said. Westport Schools Superintendent Thomas Scarice issued an alert to the community shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22, advising that there was an issue that affected both the Kings Highway and Saugatuck elementary schools. A woman with two warrants out for her arrest was taken into police custody after being busted attempting to shoplift from a Fairfield County Stop & Shop, investigators said. Two men allegedly attempted to rob a woman in Fairfield County in a parking lot after they threatened to harm her if she didn't hand over her keys and other belongings. The incident took place around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14 at the Walgreens at 880 Post Road in Westport.
