Former Glastonbury Police Officer Faces New Burglary Charge A former Connecticut police officer who has been charged in numerous crimes sprees has been arrested again for allegedly burglarizing a restaurant and bar and making off with $76,000 in cash and items.  Hartford County resident Patrick Hemingway, age 37,  of Glastonbury, was charged on Wednesday, Feb. 28, for the Thursday, May 4, 2023 crime in Wethersfield. Ex-Glastonbury Police Officer Being Held As Fugitive Burglary Spree In NJ: Police A former police officer in Connecticut was being held as a fugitive in New Jersey, in connection with a string of burglaries, authorities said. Connecticut State Police said only that Patrick Hemingway was being held in Essex County, and that the arrest warrant had not yet been served.  Hemingway is a former officer with the Glastonbury Police Department, who last week said only that one of their former officers is a person of interest in a burglary investigation spanning multiple jurisdictions.
