CT Woman Nabbed For DUI After Driving With Headlights Off: Police A Connecticut woman was charged with drunk driving after she was allegedly caught driving at 3 a.m. without any headlights, police said. The Fairfield County incident happened on Monday, March 25 in the town of Darien. At approximately 3:15 a.m. that morning, Darien Police reportedly observed 47-year-old Brenda Garcia speeding west down Post Road near Brookside Road without headlights on. DUI Crash: 34-Year-Old CT Woman Hits Guardrail, Fence, Police Say A local woman was charged with DUI after allegedly driving into a guardrail and then hitting a fence in Fairfield County. Charlotte Singer, age 34, of Westport, was arrested on Sunday, July 2 around 8:45 p.m. in Westport. According to Lt. Eric Woods, of the Westport Police, officers responded to the area of Kings Highway North and Canal Park for a one-car crash.  Upon arrival, officers located a car that crashed into a guardrail and fence near Canal Park, Woods said. Super Sniffer K9 Noses Out Intoxicated CT Car Thief, State Police Say A Connecticut State Police dog earned a few extra treats by aiding in the arrest of a car thief, officials say. Police responded to a report of a stolen pickup truck at an address in Tolland County on West Road in Ellington around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, according to state police.  The pickup truck, a red Chevrolet CK1500, was last seen heading west on Route 83 towards the area of Rockville and Vernon.
