20-Year-Old Nabbed Driving 120 MPH On Busy CT Roadway, Police Say A 20-year-old man was nabbed by Connecticut State Police allegedly driving 120 mph on Route 8 in Fairfield Couty. New Jersey resident Ethan Steier, of Warren in Somerset County, was clocked around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26 in a green BMW traveling in excess of 120 mph on Route 8 southbound in the area of Exit 2 in Bridgeport. The area has a posted speed limit of 55 mph, state police said. When troopers attempted to initiate a traffic stop the BMW, accelerated and entered onto I-95 southbound, eluding troopers. Road Rage: Brake-Checking Leads To Roadside Fight Involving Guns On Route 15, Police Say Three men face charges in connection with a roadside fight involving firearms that was prompted by one of the suspects brake-checking motorcyclists on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County, police said.  The incident began on Tuesday, June 13 just after 7 p.m., when state troopers responded to the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) northbound in Greenwich by Exit 28 on a report of an active assault, according to state police.  The call for police assistance had come from 43-year-old Shelton resident Marvin Harris, who told troopers that he was being actively assaulted by a group of moto…
