Three people were wounded, one critically during a shooting in Fairfield County on a busy city street. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 in the 1200 block of Park Avenue. Bridgeport Police officers responded to the area after receiving multiple ShotSpotter notifications and reports of numerous people shot, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police. A 59-year-old man working as a surveyor was killed after being struck by a car in the driveway of a business in Fairfield County. The incident took place in the town of Fairfield around 9:20 a.m., Wednesday, May 17 in the parking lot of 2150 Post Road (Route 1). A Chinese food delivery driver was found shot to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Bridgeport. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at 1525 Boston Ave. Officers responded to the apartment complex after receiving phone calls from residents and a Shot Spotter activation, Capt. State police are asking witnesses to a single-car crash that killed a Terryville man on Route 8 in Watertown to come forward. The crash took place in Litchfield County around 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23 on Route 8 south of the Exit 38 on-ramp in Watertown. A 24-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a two-vehicle crash early this morning. The crash took place in Hartford around 2:40 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29 in the area of Capitol Avenue at Laurel Street. According to Lt. A 37-year-old Fairfield County man has died after being shot multiple times on a city street in what police are calling a targeted attack. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 1:30 a.m., Friday, June 10 in the 100 block of Pricilla Circle. A man was shot to death while lying in his bed at a Connecticut home. The 32-year-old Hartford County man was found around when police responded to a Unionville home for a report of a shooting at around 11 p.m., Wednesday, March 16. Two kayakers whose vessels overturned and were being swept away by the current were rescued by a Fairfield County police marine unit. The incident took place around 12:40 p.m., Monday, Jan. 18, in the Town of Fairfield.
