Manchester Child Porn Arrest Leads To Gun, Drug Charges
A Connecticut man has been charged with a range of crimes from allegedly possessing child porn to illegally possessing guns and manufacturing drugs. Hartford County resident Michael Gigliotti, age, of Manchester, was arrested on Monday, April 1, at his home in Manchester. According to Lt. Nick Reinert of the Manchester Police, Gigliotti was nabbed by Manchester detectives, the Center for Digital Investigations, and Homeland Security following an investigation into child pornography. Pipe Bomb Located On Meriden Riverbed
A pipe bomb was discovered in a Connecticut riverbed by a person using a metal detector along the shoreline. The incident took place in New Haven County around 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 2 in the area of Red Bridge at the intersection of Oregon Road and River Road in Meriden. According to Lt. Production has been halted at the largest producer of fresh eggs in the United States after bird flu was discovered in chickens. Cal-Maine Foods reported that one of the company’s facilities located in Parmer County, Texas, tested positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), resulting in depopulation of approximately 1.6 million laying hens and 337,000 pullets, or approximately 3.6 percent of its total flock. A 30-year-old man was found dead in a vehicle in the parking lot of a Connecticut Walmart. The incident occurred in New London County on Monday, April 1 at the Walmart at 155 Waterford Parkway North in Waterford. Connecticut State Police are asking for witnesses after a 53-year-old man was struck and killed while walking in the travel lanes of I-91.
