Stamford Man Nabbed With Guns, Ammo, Fentanyl After Police Receive Tip, Cops Say A Fairfield County man was caught with guns, ammo, and fentanyl after police received a tip from the Crime Stoppers Gun Tip Program. Kevin Llewellyn, age 31, of Stamford, was charged on Saturday, July 7 in Stamford. According to Assistant Chief Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police, agents with the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit received the tip that Llewellyn had a firearm. Conklin said agents, along with the patrol unit and K9 Officer Gale, conducted surveillance of Llewellyn and captured him while he was in the area of Rose Park Avenue and Richmond Hill Avenue.  A search of L…

Man, Woman Nabbed After Stealing Vehicle With Service Dog Inside In Stamford: Police A man and woman were apprehended after stealing a vehicle with a service dog inside in Fairfield County. Just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 in Stamford, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on the west side of the city.  The vehicle, which was left running, was stolen from Richmond Hill Avenue. Upon taking the report from the owner, officers learned that the stolen vehicle was occupied by a small service dog. Multiple Shots Fired In Busy Area During Morning Commute In Fairfield County, Police Say Residents of a busy Fairfield County city street were ducking for cover when shots began flying during the morning commute. The shooting took place around 8 a.m., Monday, Sept. 27 near the corner of Richmond Hill Avenue and Mission Street in Stamford. According to Captain Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police, police responded to the area after receiving multiple reports of shots fired in the area.
