It happened on the northbound side around 7:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22 in Milford.
Middlesex County resident Bilbraut Angel Caraballo, age 42, of Middlefield, was driving a truck towing a trailer south of Exit 39 A, when the truck drifted into the left lane and collided with a motorcycle, which was pushed into the concrete median, Connecticut State Police said.

300-Vehicle Street Takeover: CT Woman Nabbed For Blocking Crash, Police Say
A 24-year-old woman who was involved in a massive Connecticut street takeover, and allegedly hindered aid to the victims of takeover-related crash, has been apprehended, police reported.
The New Haven County event happened on Saturday, July 8 in the city of Milford.
Around 7 p.m. that day, a street takeover comprised of approximately 300 ATVs, motorcycles, and dirt bikes bombarded the city, causing delays and violations across Milford, police reported.

The 16-year-old accused of fatally stabbing a Fairfield Prep student-athlete is free after posting a $2 million bond.
Raul “Lito” Valle, of Milford, posted the bond on Monday, May 23, according to the Milford Superior Court Clerk.
Valle is charged with the stabbing murder in Shelton of James "Jimmy" McGrath, a football and lacrosse player at Fairfield College Preparatory School, on Saturday, May 14 during a fight in front of a residence and injuring three others, authorities said.

Brothers, Juvenile Nabbed For Shelton Robbery, Police Say
Two Fairfield County teen brothers and a juvenile were arrested in connection with a street robbery last year.
The Shelton Police Department arrested 19-year-old Eliezer Reyes, his 18-year-old brother Jose Reyes, both of Shelton, and a third juvenile suspect, on Wednesday, Feb. 10, for a Shelton for a street robbery, which occurred in December, said Det. Christopher Nugent.
According to Nugent, on Thursday, Dec. 10, Shelton Police and EMS responded to a man being assaulted in the area of Coram Avenue and White Street, Nugent said.

Shelton Man Busted For Multiple Drug Offenses, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested on mulitple drug charges, according to police.
Trevor Dixon, 33, of Shelton, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 27, by the Shelton Police following an investigation, said Det. Richard Bango.
Dixon was arrested after police executed a search and seizure warrant at 156 Coram Ave. in Shelton, Bango said.
During the search, warrant detectives seized 47 grams of individually packaged crack cocaine, 25 grams of marijuana, packaging materials and supplies, and $8,300 in cash.

Police have arrested a man who is being charged with murdering his ex less than a week ago.
The man allegedly killed 20-year-old Rosali Violet Acquefreda during an ongoing child custody fight for their 3-year-old son, according to the New York Post.
