Officer In ICU: Donation Fund Created For Cop Who Suffered 'Serious Medical Event' In Region Officials in Western Massachusetts have created a donation fund for a police officer who was hospitalized on Sunday, March 13, after he collapsed following an annual charity hockey game in Hampden County.  Chicopee Police Officer Mark Wilkes played in the Battle of the Badges against the Chicopee Fire Department, but he didn't get much time to celebrate his department's victory. One Month On, River Search Continues For Missing 11-Year-Old Boy Nearly a month after he went missing, law enforcement personnel and emergency responders have resumed searching for an 11-year-old boy last whereabouts were by a Connecticut River boat ramp. On Wednesday, March 3, a large search and rescue mission was conducted on the Chicopee and Connecticut rivers by the Medina Boat Ramp in Chicopee. People were asked to avoid the area so as not to inhibit the search for Aiden Blanchard.
