Armed East Hartford Package Thief Arrested, Police Say An armed Connecticut teen has just been arrested for allegedly breaking into vehicles and taking packages off of a front porch in Fairfield County last summer.  During the early morning hours of Friday, Aug. 26, Fairfield Police were alerted to several motor vehicles that were broken into in the Lake Hills section of town, said Lt. CT Man Nabbed In Connection To Fatal Overdose A Connecticut man has been arrested in connection with the 2020 overdose death of a Fairfield County man. Luis Rivera, age 34, of Naugatuck, was arrested on Thursday, March 11, by the Fairfield Police Department Quality of Life Unit following an investigation into the 23-year-old's death in December, said Lt. Antonio Granata. According to Granata, Rivera allegedly sold the deceased narcotics on the day of his fatal overdose.  Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Rivera and he was arrested during a motor vehicle stop. Person Found Dead In Parking Lot of Fairfield Prep By Construction Worker The body of a missing man was found in the Fairfield Prep parking lot by a construction worker. The man was found around 6:56 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, by the worker in the parking area of Fairfield University and Fairfield Prep, said Fairfield Police Lt. Antonio Granata.
