Mixed Bag Of Weekend Weather For Greenwich

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Residents of Fairfield County will enjoy a sunny and mild start to the weekend but will have to deal with a rain-filled ending, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunny skies will give way to plenty of rain to end the weekend.

Saturday will be the best day of the weekend with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of about 47 degrees. Temperatures will dip to freezing after the sun goes down.

Rain will roll into the area after 10 a.m. Sunday and stick around until about 10 p.m. With temperatures expected to be in the mid-40s, the precipitation will remain wet and not frozen. The chance of rain on Sunday is about 80 percent.
