Stamford Murder Suspect Nabbed On Day Of Victim's Funeral On the day of funeral services for victim Stephon Walthrust, the Stamford Police Department arrested the man allegedly responsible for the fatal “senseless” murder, investigators announced. Walthrust, of Queens, was found shot multiple times in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked on Garden Street on March 30, police said. He was later transported to Stamford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
