Car Slips Into Lake In Pound Ridge Amid Icy, Flooded Conditions
A vehicle had to be pulled out of a lake in Northern Westchester after falling into it in the midst of icy and flooded conditions. The incident happened in Pound Ridge on Friday, Jan. 27 around 8:20 a.m., when a vehicle traveling on Siscowit Road fell into a lake by Eastwoods Road, according to Pound Ridge Police. Luckily, the driver was able to get herself out of the vehicle and was unharmed. However, her car became completely submerged and had to be towed out. Fugitive Wanted For Sex Assault Of 14-Year-Old Apprehended In Area
A fugitive wanted for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old child was apprehended in Northern Westchester after a local resident reported a suspicious vehicle. Pound Ridge Police received the call of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Sherwood Rd in Pound Ridge on Wednesday, Dec. 26. Responding Pound Ridge Officers located the vehicle on Upper Shad Road in Pound Ridge. Cos Cob Man, 50, Seriously Injured In Bicycling Accident
A 50-year-old man was seriously injured early Saturday morning in a bicycling accident in Northern Westchester. At approximately 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Pound Ridge Police, Pound Ridge Fire, Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance and Westchester EMS ALS paramedics were dispatched to Lower Shad Road for a bicyclist down in the roadway.
