Beloved HS Teacher, Coach Who Was College Standout In Connecticut Dies A lifelong Hudson Valley resident who was a beloved high school coach, and teacher, as well as the chief of a local fire department, and a standout college athlete in Connecticut, has died. Northern Westchester resident Michael Repp, of Somers and formerly of Katonah, died on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at age 82 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco.  He was born in Orange County on May 15th, 1939, in Cornwall, to the late Michael and Irene Repp. He was raised in Katonah, attended Saint Mary’s School in Katonah, and was a member of the first graduating class from John Jay High S…

Woman Struck, Killed By Own Vehicle In Bedford A woman was struck and killed by her own vehicle in Northern Westchester, police said. When police arrived on the scene, they found numerous people attempting to help Diana Devivo, 46, who was unconscious after being hit by her truck on Anderson Road in Katonah on Sunday, June 30 around 3:37 p.m., said the Bedford Police. Devivo was transported by the Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, where she was pronounced dead, police said. Kennedys Win Hospital Defamation Lawsuit; Settled For Nearly $200K A highly publicized nearly six-year-old defamation lawsuit was settled this week in favor of Douglas and Molly Kennedy of Chappaqua. The Kennedys countersued Northern Westchester Hospital, two of its nurses and the husband of one of the nurses. The couple's lawsuit followed Kennedy's acquittal of child endangerment and harassment charges stemming from a Jan. 7, 2012 altercation at the hospital in Mount Kisco. The hospital did not comment.
