Lamont Apparent Winner Of CT Governor's Race; Murphy, Himes Easily Re-elected

Here's a rundown of the latest results from Tuesday's Midterm elections: Governor As of 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, with 99 percent of precincts reporting, Lamont has 661,560 votes to Republican Bob Stefanowski's 643,392 for a 48.4 percent to 47.1 percent advantage. Who Else Ran In CT's Primary Elections?
In addition to Tuesday's primary elections for Governor, here are other Connecticut election results: Lieutenant Governor Joe Markley, the GOP-endorsed candidate, was the unofficial winner with 48 percent of the vote in a three-way race. Markley served as state senator from 2010 to the present.
