The incident took place in Fairfield County around 11:38 p.m., Monday, May 11, when a New Canaan Police officer noticed the vehicle sitting at the light at the intersection of Elm and Park streets. New Canaan Woman With Warrant For October DUI Crash Charged A woman from New Canaan has been arrested and charged by warrant following an alleged DUI crash that occurred last October, police say. A New Canaan Police patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling south on South Avenue on Friday, March 8 around 6 a.m. A check of the license plate through COLLECT resulted in the officer’s discovery of a warrant for the owner’s arrest.
