Man Admits To Shootings For Fairfield County Gang That Posted On Social Media, Feds Say A 24-year-old Fairfield County man has admitted to participating in gang-related shootings, including a shooting in front of a state courthouse. Diomie Blackwell, of Bridgeport, pleaded guilty on Monday, Oct. 4, to one count of conspiracy to engage in a pattern of racketeering activity, according to Leonard Boyle, acting United States attorney for the District of Connecticut. Four Shot At Bridgeport Courthouse, Police Say This story has been updated. Four people have been shot at the Bridgeport Courthouse, according to police. The shooting took place around 12:15 p.m., Monday, Jan. 27, at the courthouse on Golden Hill Street, said Rowena White, director of communication for the City of Bridgeport.
