Police Search For Suspect After Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Greenwich Hit-Run Crash
A bicyclist was seriously injured during a hit-and-run crash in Greenwich. It happened around 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, at the intersection of North Street and Fairfield Road when the bicyclist was struck by a black vehicle and sustained serious injuries, said the Greenwich Police. The black vehicle was last seen driving eastbound on Fairfield Road, police said. The Greenwich Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident or know who the involved person is to contact Det. Brian Perusse at 203-622-8039.

Single-Vehicle Crash Leads To DUI Charge For Greenwich Woman, 25
A woman from Greenwich is facing DUI charges after police say she was involved in a single-vehicle crash. Greenwich Police say Kate Yoder, 25, was involved in a single-car crash in the area of 23 Fairfield Road on Tuesday, June 11 around 1 p.m. Police say they detected an alcoholic odor coming from Yoder and asked her to participate in a series of field sobriety tests, which she did not perform to standard. Busy Roadway In Greenwich Expected To Be Closed Throughout Day
A busy road in the area is expected to be closed throughout the day on Friday, April 5 following an overnight crash that downed a utility pole and led to a water main break. The Greenwich Police Department issued an alert cautioning that Fairfield Road is closed between Old Church Road and Hillside Road due to a crash that led to complications for local officials. Police said that at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, a motorist struck and knocked down a utility pole on Fairfield Road.
