In Nov. 2022, the Norwalk Police Department Detective Bureau opened an investigation into a report of a married couple illegally taking money from an elderly person, said Lt. Vicious Assault: Suspect Nabbed After Woman Suffers Fractured Skull Near Library In CT A Connecticut man is behind bars after allegedly viciously beating a woman on an area sidewalk in an unprovoked attack. The incident took place in Middlesex County on Thursday, March 23 in the area of Russell Library in Middletown. According to Middletown Police, officers responded to the area on a report of an injured woman. When officers arrived on the scene they found a 62-year-old woman who had sustained severe injuries including a fractured skull and a brain bleed. Suspect Nabbed In Beating Of Man In Fairfield County, Police Say A man who allegedly beat another person so badly he remains in the hospital on a ventilator with a brain bleed has been arrested by police. Ohireime Julian Osemobor, age 29, was arrested on Sunday, June 6, by Stamford Police for the violent assault of the 66-year-old man which took place around 10 p.m., on Saturday, May 29, said Stamford PD Captain Richard Conklin.
